Thinking about getting the Cricut Explore Air.. this is a great deal for $215 and comes with the deep cut blade and housing so you can cut lots of thick materials, like wood, leather, foam, etc. And then you get the tool kit as well.

Mirrors using Cricut Explore and print to cut
Made up these mirrors for a Mother daughter tea..love using my 3 inch USAbutton maker along with my Cricut Explore..cuts perfect circles..
Cricut Print and Cut personalized magnets
Sure I could have let my Cricut Explore write out the words..but was much quicker to just use the print to cut feature. Typed it up in Design Space and then print to my printer and let the Explore cut out the shape. Print and cut feature is great for many things..i'll have to post more of what i've use and used it for.

Paper tote bags using Cricut Explore
Now how cute are these gift bag paper tote bags..using 12 x 12 sheets of paper they are a nice size to get a decent size gift in. I'm doing a few for my nephew for Teachers appreciation week so used some school type papers. Any pattern papers will make these look great..or use solid colors and embellish them. One of the great things about the Cricut Explore you can upload images, or you can create using the free shapes that are in Cricut Design Space. I had to stop making these for a week or two they are so addicting, fun and easy to make.
I used some Cricut foil for the circles on one of the bags, gives it a mirrored look. One of them i used my Cuttlebug to emboss..how cute is that. And how cute for a baby shower right..so many possibilities.

WOW 10 yrs ago the first Cricut was released
Like the title says, was 10 years ago this week that the first Cricut cutter was released..from the baby bag to the now Explore...been a journey. I must admit i didnt get one until 2009, never really thought id use it, well okay thought it would be to hard to learn. Silly me..got the baby bug in October 2009..in a few months i wanted to cut larger images so i got an Expression in Feb 2010. Still have my baby bug, not being used but i have it. Have my Expression as well used that until last year Feb when i opened up my Explore and since then I've used my Expression once or twice..but in a pinch I will turn her on.
Cricut will be having a sale starting on April 20th thru the 27th.. lots of things going on sale..i'll try to remember to post what they are :)
