Ok here's my try at covering and decorating the $1 mailbox from Target..next one i should have it downpacked,lol. My main problem was that dern flag but i'll get it, like they stay practice makes perfect. The green one i did first, its not finished because i didnt realize until i was this far that i needed 1/4 inch ribbon, i have the color but only 1/8 inch so will be picking up some wider ribbon, plus you can see i didnt put enough tape on this side, that sticky tape is to strong to be pulling up,lol..so this was my trial.
You decorated this so pretty! It's funny but each time I've been in a Target these mailboxes were ALWAYS sold out! I'll catch one evidentally and then I'll buy as many as I can afford! LOL! Maybe then somebody else will know how it feels!!!

ReplyDeleteLOL Audrey, you need to go soon ppl apparently use them for Valentines Day..i almost panic the other day when i went and didnt see them, then i looked in the inside row and there they were.

ReplyDeleteOOh you did a nice job! I really like the green one even with the little oops, and yes that stickey tape is no joke, lol, it's like super glue! I hope to try out a few more designs tomorrow, I got a couple new paper stacks that look promising :) Thanks for sharing over at Love is in the Details! Andrea
